Referral Fee Program — Small Business Loans, Business Cash Advances and Business Consulting
The AEX Business Advisor Referral Fee Program allows anyone to refer
business financing opportunities and receive compensation upon
completion of financing. With this program, AEX performs all of the
necessary work, so it is not necessary for the referring advisor to
have a detailed knowledge of business loan requirements (and a license
is not required to receive referral fees from AEX).
We do not require referring individuals to submit an application or other documentation such as tax returns for the prospective commercial borrower. In fact, one of our key policies is that we do not ask business owners to submit an application until we have determined that we are likely to be able to provide appropriate business financing. We are generally able to make that determination after a detailed phone discussion with a business borrower.
The AEX Commercial Loan Officer Training Program has been discontinued.
AEX previously provided an extensive business finance training program for new commercial mortgage and business financing brokers — we recently decided to eliminate our training program due to the increased time we are spending with business owners in their efforts to secure new commercial financing or refinance existing commercial loans in an extremely difficult small business loan environment. For brokers interested in specific assistance, we can arrange to help them on a consulting basis. Overall this means that we are now spending much more time with commercial borrowers and less time with commercial loan brokers.
