While all of us can be drawn to "free offers", these usually prove to be misleading. When it comes to your career and business decisions, it might even be advisable to assume the worst for career training programs and services that include a suggestion that something will not cost anything. In some cases, the costs emerge later or in some hidden fashion. If a company offers "free training", it might also apply to a very limited kind of training that is tailored to a specific set of business services or products that will not result in any transferable skills outside of the company offering the free career training. A good mix of common sense and some variation of cost-risk-benefit analysis should help when making prudent career training decisions.
